"Welcome to Machu Picchu City!" Well, Liam was accurate on that one. Our guide was overly overenthusiastic. Other guides had approached us at the entrance, but we picked this woman because she seemed kind and gentle.

The whole concept of Machu Picchu is so epic for me that I don't think I could cover it in one blog post. I have so many pictures that it would be overwhelming for us all if I tried to organize and post them all, so I think I'll take it in chunks. At least that will be the idea as I start.

We left 100 days ago.* As a teacher I suppose I should organize a 100 day celebration. We should don some 100 day hats and count various objects to 100. Earlier in the trip we could have easily counted 100 bug bites. We can easily count 100s of Chilean pesos or 100 chips. We don't have many things with us, maybe 100 objects of clothes between us. Perhaps we should just count 100 blessings. That would be an easy list.
